Dr. Tianyi Xie is the Associate Director, Director of Outreach and Prevention Services at University of Iowa's University Counseling Service (UCS). She oversees and coordinate all aspects of outreach at UCS. This includes building relationships, promoting mental health awareness and services, and developing, delivering, and evaluating prevention programs such as workshops, support groups, Let's Talk, Hawks!, and Fresh Check Day. As an Asian woman, She values the healing power of safe communal spaces. She is committed to fostering and maintaining connections through collaboration and supporting communities impacted by historical and/or ongoing oppression. She started serving on the AUCCCO Board of Directors in 2024 and chairs the Communication Committee.
