______________________________________________________________ Purdue: The person in this position will bring generalist clinical skills and experience, along with expertise in outreach and consultation as essential mental health functions. This staff member will lead, coordinate and provide vision for staff around outreach and consultation efforts and activities, and will participate in these events. This staff person will also nurture and manage collaborative relationships with other agencies and organizations. This therapist will provide therapy services to students. Other activities will include attending pertinent staff team meetings, as well as participating in staff planning and coordination meetings, professional development activities, and in-service presentations. This staff member will assist, as needed, in other areas of the agency, such as AOD, teaching, administration, research and related activities. ______________________________________________________________ American University The Assistant Director for Outreach and Consultation position promotes the academic, social, and emotional well-being of students by providing assessment, counseling, supervision, consultation, psycho-education, outreach, urgent care intervention, and related services through the university’s Counseling Center. In addition, this position is responsible for identifying, developing, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating the consultation and outreach activities of the office to be responsive to the needs of students, parents, faculty, and staff. The person in this position adheres to all relevant ethical, legal, and professional standards. _____________________________________________________________ University of North Carolina Wilmington This position has specific responsibilities for the oversight of the Center’s community engagement efforts including supervising Outreach Services, providing leadership for campus training and consultation efforts, conference planning, and project management as well as a lead role in Continuing Education program management (APA, NBCC, etc.), and coordination of program assessment and evaluation for the area. In addition, this position has general administrative responsibilities and provides staff clinical supervision, as needed. ______________________________________________________________ University of Utah We are seeking an individual with a strong ability and interest to engage actively in collaborative outreach partnerships with the University of Utah campus. Innovation, creativity, and expertise with maintaining a vibrant social media presence are also necessary. Additional staff psychologist responsibilities will include providing individual, group and couples counseling to a multicultural college population, conducting intakes, providing crisis services, and other duties as assigned. In addition, this position actively participates in the training and supervising of graduate students and psychology interns in addition to working with our undergraduate Mental Health Ambassador. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to working with multicultural programming and diverse populations, and proven interest or expertise in crisis intervention and clinical consultation with university staff and faculty. Opportunities for teaching and research are also available. ______________________________________________________________ UNC Wilmington The Assistant Director has administrative responsibilities for providing oversight to the Counseling Center’s community engagement efforts including outreach, consultation, and professional continuing education program management. In addition, the Assistant Director has responsibility for coordinating program assessment and evaluation efforts; project management; staff supervision, as well as other duties as determined collaboratively with the Director. This position assists with the general administration of the Counseling Center and related services and programs. Provide leadership in identifying, developing and responding to consultation opportunities with community constituents including faculty, administrators, staff, students and other campus stakeholders. Assist with developing and providing training to the campus community on areas related to the impact of social, emotional and psychological concerns on academic performance. The Assistant Director also provides individual, group and relationship counseling, case supervision, outreach, consultation, crisis intervention, referral and other duties, as assigned. In addition, the Assistant Director participates in the after-hour / on-call rotation, as needed and develops and maintains strong relationships with Center and campus colleagues in order to provide services that meet the assessed needs of students and of the campus. ______________________________________________________________ Texas Christian University Support all activities of the HOPE Initiative, a comprehensive campus suicide prevention program funded by a SAMHSA Garrett Lee Smith Memorial Campus Suicide Prevention Grant by marketing and promotion of community-based suicide prevention outreach activities, scheduling training for faculty, staff and students; assisting in community mental health education needs-assessment, maintaining informational resources, and collecting data on outcomes. Experience – Required 2 years working in public health, community health, health promotion, health marketing, in a community setting such as school, university, public agency, or occupational setting. Pertinent educational experiences (research assistantships, community health internships, peer health educator positions or similar) may count towards experience. Desired Qualifications – CHES preferred, not required. ______________________________________________________________ Colorado School of Mines Outreach Coordinator: Responsibilities include assuming a leadership role in planning, developing, marketing and implementing campus-wide mental health education and outreach services; providing direct clinical and educational services to a diverse student body; providing consultation and training services to the campus community on relevant wellness and mental health topics and serving as a liaison with campus entities in support of student success. |
