Nurturing, Connection & Belonging
Call for Programs

Submit your proposal by March 12, 2021

 
We are excited to announce the opening of the call for programs for the 13th annual AUCCCO Conference!  Make plans to join Counseling Center Outreach professionals from across the nation as we gather virtually, June 2nd-4th to celebrate the 13th Annual Association for University and College Counseling Center Outreach (AUCCCO) conference. As we prepare to support our colleagues in a virtual space, we invite you to share your work with others by presenting at the conference. This is a great opportunity to grow together, learn from one another, and find support for our collective efforts. Under the theme "Nurturing, Connection & Belonging" this conference will focus on the power of community.  While living within a time of multiple pandemics, our lives, and ways of serving students has shifted. We are looking to highlight the importance of connection our character of resilience and how we rebuild and maintain affirming communities. We look forward to a conference program that embodies the diversity, uniqueness, and originality of AUCCCO.

Possible topics for consideration might include, and are not limited to, the following:
  • Your biggest and best outreach initiatives
  • Rebuilding Resilience
  • Power in community
  • Cultural-considerations and outreach to under-represented populations
  • Civil Discourse
  • New, innovative ideas for a new decade
  • Self-care strategies for the UCC professional
There are three options for presenting at this conference:
  1. 60-minute presentations in a traditional format.
  2. 20-minute or less wellness programming - this will be a pre-recorded session
  3. Poster Presentation - this will be a 10-minute or less pre-recorded session showcasing your poster followed by an optional live Q&A session with attendees.

The deadline for proposals is Friday, March 12th. You will be notified of the status of the proposal by April 2nd.  

Note: If your proposal is accepted, the presentation title, presenter information, and abstract you provide will be included in the conference program, so please be sure the information you submit is accurate. All accepted presenters are expected to pay full conference registration fees.

Proposal Requirements

To submit your conference proposal, you will need to provide the following information:
For each presenter (primary and co-presenters):
  • Name
  • Email
  • CV/Vita (upload)
For each presentation the following information will be needed:
  • Session Topic
  • Instructional Level
  • Abstract - 200 word maximum
  • Learning Objectives (minimum of 2)
  • Research Citations (minimum of 3)
  • Primary Presenter credentials
